Your Connection to Harvard in Shanghai
Since the 1930s, the Harvard Club of Shanghai has been a valued alumni organization serving the entire Harvard community in Shanghai. Our membership includes graduates from all schools within Harvard University. The Club regularly organizes a variety of events throughout Shanghai, including monthly alumni mixers, lectures and talks, and other programs of interest to our members. Whether you are a long-term resident of Shanghai or just visiting, the Club is a great way to connect with fellow Harvard alumni.
Membership Types
Regular Member
Regular Memberships open to all Harvard alumni, degree holders and certificate holders in December around the time of the AGM meeting. Regular Members are full members of the Harvard Club of Shanghai and may attend all events held by the Club.
Regular Members have preferential access and exclusive invitations to certain events held throughout the year and may vote and stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the end of each year. Regular Membership includes a subscription to the Club mailing list and access to the Club's LinkedIn group.
Club dues are assessed annually and are valid for the corresponding calendar year. Club dues go towards funding the Club's operations, events and initiatives, including the Harvard Prize Book and community service programs in the Shanghai area.
Annual Dues: 500 RMB
Associate Member
Associate Membership is open to all Harvard alumni, faculty, staff, current students and parents of current undergraduates. Associate Members are welcome to attend events held by the Harvard Club of Shanghai, but cannot vote or stand for election for Club positions. Associate Membership is free and includes a subscription to the Club mailing list and access to the Club's LinkedIn group.
