HarvardX for Alumni
The Harvard Alumni Association and HarvardX are pleased to introduce HAA1x: HarvardX for Alumni, a free online educational experience exclusively for Harvard alumni. Beginning March 22, 2014, this experimental course surveys the intellectual riches of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, exploring the theme of "Explorations in Learning." Guided by HarvardX faculty director and GSAS alumnus Robert A. Lue, Harvard alumni worldwide will experience innovative approaches to education developed by HarvardX, exploring a wide range of topics with celebrated faculty:
- Neuroscience, with David Cox
- Poetry in America, with Elisa New
- Einstein Revolution, with Peter Galison
- The Ancient Greek Hero, with Gregory Nagy
- China, with Peter Bol and William Kirby
- Tangible Things, with Laurel Ulrich
- Computer Science, with David Malan
We invite you to enhance your HAA1x: HarvardX for Alumni experience by participating in our in-person discussion group organized by the Harvard Club of Shanghai. This is your chance to bring online learning to life by joining other Shanghai-area alumni for in-person discussion, conversation and collaborative learning. It's like being back in the classroom!
