Changzhou West Taihu Lake
With China’s development and improvement of people’s living standards, health has gradually become the most important thing for Chinese people . Changzhou is well-known for its healthcare industry across China with more than 330 medical device manufacturers. Furthermore, in 2010, Jiangsu Food and Drug Administration and Changzhou Municipal government signed an agreement to establish the Changzhou West Taihu Lake International Medical Industrial Park (WIM).
The WIM has developed five major sectors under the healthcare industry including Orthopedic implants, IVD, Surgical tools, medical supplies and rehabilitation equipment. There are more than 100 medical manufactures, more than 300 medical distributors and ten pharmaceutical R&D centers which have already started their operation in the WIM.

David Hu, Director General of WIM. David is responsible for overall investment services in WIM, including industry planning, investment negotiation, and policy strategy.
Juliet Yao, Deputy Section Chief of Changzhou International Investment Promotion Center. Juliet is based in Shanghai and promotes investment from the Shanghai area to Changzhou.
Joo-San Chong, Managing Director & Executive Vice President of Forefront Medical Technology. Mr. Chong is responsible for lead global business pursuits and engage activities with Fortune 500 medical/healthcare customers, develop and implement corporate and business strategies. Forefront Medical Technology focuses exclusively on the medical device industry and thoroughly understands the needs of the medical disposable, diagnostics and drug infusion markets. Forefront has extensive expertise with contract manufacturing, injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, device assembly and packaging of specialty medical disposable devices.
Xun Tang is a Partner in the Transaction Services Group, PwC Consultants (Shenzhen) Limited, Shanghai Branch. Xun joined PwC since 1995 and he has worked in both China and the UK. Xun has undertaken over 200 projects buy-side due diligence for foreign investments in China, he is a key member of PwC's Pharma, Life Science and Healthcare team. Xun is a Certified Public Accountant in China and a member of Hong Kong Institue of Certified Public Accountants.
