Grow your Harvard network and reconnect with classmates in Shanghai on Wednesday, January 11.

The Harvard Alumni Association and the Harvard Club of Shanghai are delighted to invite you to join fellow alumni for Global Networking Night (GNN). This is a great opportunity to explore and expand your Harvard Network; the last event drew more than 5,000 alumni in more than 85 global locations.

Global Networking Night (GNN) is living proof of the dynamism and connectedness of the Harvard alumni community. Each year we see more cities participate and more alumni attend to strengthen their personal, professional, and intellectual bonds within the network. I hope you will participate in our next GNN.

ABOUT THE VENUE

URBN is an award winning design-meets-sustainable boutique hotel in Shanghai, set to draw the discerning jetsetter. Occupying a converted factory warehouse, URBN uses recycled and locally sourced materials and is proudly China’s first carbon neutral hotel.

URBN’s downtown location in Jing’an is a convenient walk or ride away from the charming former French Concession area and a myriad of Shanghai’s finest shopping and dining options. Yet being tucked away on a quiet street guarantees a tranquil stay, and positions the hotel as an urban sanctuary in China’s most exciting and dynamic metropolis.

The hotel’s intimate setting feels like a home away from home, but one with luxury, modern day comforts. Throughout the hotel, a neutral color palette is selected to enhance the natural beauty of the recycled wood materials. But above all, what URBN has, is the soul and sophistication that is emblematic of Shanghai.
